Okay, so it wasn’t heard round the world. Apparently, my snort was a quiet one so it’s not like some horribly loud nightmare from which I can never escape. THANK YOU, GOD!!! π
For those of you that either don’t get the first hour of the midday news on WGN or for those of you who live somewhere far, far away…I have a link for you to see it. Yay!
Just click this link or on the pic below to watch: Jodi Cooking? WTF???
Thanks so much to all of you for being so wonderful and supportive!!! π I hope you enjoy the segment and love the sammich!! π
PS: I realized that I look preggers in my apron!!! I must get a new apron that doesn’t add a 6 month old fetus to my outfit!
I didn’t even notice lol

Whew!!! I didn’t hear it either–thank God. When it happened live it sounded like a rhino making mating calls. π

What snort? When I saw the apron my thought was, “What a great marketing ideal to put her website on the apron.” You did a great job! Congrats. I feel the same way about cooking – fast and easy. π

I was so lucky about the snort! It was in the last 5 seconds of taping and I think they may even have cut it off. WHEW!!!! I’ve been so worried about that damn snort! π

You rocked! And there is nothing wrong with a good snort! I do it all the time.
It must have so cool to watch yourself on TV!

I’m so happy the snort was undetectable. I’ve been panic stricken over it since the moment it happened! π So happy you liked the show. My agent just booked me another TV appearance (woo hoo!) so there’ll be another one in a couple of months. Yay!

I didn’t hear the snort. I was waiting for it.
Anyway, congrats. The food looked good and you seemed to have a nice rapport with the anchor.
I hope it will lead to alot of book sales.

Like you, I kept waiting for it too. It was at the very end of the segment, which ran long, so I’m wondering if they cut out the very last part of our conversation??? It’s all a blur so I don’t even remember how we finished up. All I can say is God bless ’em if they cut it out! π
Thanks for the sweetness on book sales. From your mouth to God’s ears!! π XOXOXO

Great job! I didn’t hear any snorts. I love to cook but I refuse the spend the time to roast red peppers. I buy them in the jar if I really need roasted red peppers!
LikeLike
Thank you!! I think the snort was louder in my head–thank God!!! I’m like you–I simply will NOT spend an hour roasting peppers. Screw that! Hence the Red Pepper Travesty Alert! I’ll continue to let the hubby to all the heavy lifting in the kitchen. π Man…I’m spoiled!

I’m a little shocked that they would allow you on their show. They usually protect the host and keep those with more aesthetic and personality gifts off the screen. π

Oh, NO ON THE DAMN FRIGGIN’ MIXEY-MIXEY!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

OK, the mixing doesn’t bother me at all normally. Actually, the marriage of flavors can enhance them at times. Where I **HATE** it is at Chipotle. They cook the onions and the green peppers together and I don’t like green peppers, but they’ve got them all mixed up already. ARG.

Sir, I am right there with you. I don’t like green peppers either. On a VERY rare occasion I’ll use them in a recipe, but then I yank them all out before eating it. I know…that sounds weird, but does that surprise you??? π XO

Thank you for posting this…or maybe not! You are so darned beautiful,(and a lot younger than I am!)
Love it! I am very ‘into’ alternatives and give them whenever possible.I am an ‘accomplished’ cook, former baker/restaurateur , but my blog is all about getting people to know they CAN do it, and I try to give levels of ease…so they can make it individual-LY…your only goof, we’ll kid you but you did beautifully!
LikeLike
I about threw up when I said, “individual.” WHAT???? WHAT?????? I don’t speak like that in real life. You KNOW I’m all about the LY! π Ah, I guess if that’s the only foible…it could have been worse. π Thanks so much for the sweetness. You are such a doll!!! I doubt I’m much younger than you, though. I’m turning 43 in a few months. Yikes! π Just like you do on your blog, I think it’s so important to let everyone know they can cook…it’s all about those alternatives that make it easier/harder depending on how much someone likes to cook. We are two peas in a cooking pod! π
